Mike Perry works in Brooklyn, NY. Making books, magazines, newspapers, clothing, drawings, paintings, illustrations and teaching whenever possible.

Here he has reinterpreted the classic lines of the Eames Eiffel and Rocker Arm Chair (produced by Herman Miller) with his original and snappy style. Drawn to order, Perry draws on the chairs by hand using indelible ink and signs each one.
His artwork can also be seen on the VIPP trash can, a design classic since 1939, the VIPP is hand-assembled in Denmark.
I rather like the quirky nature of Mike's designs although as a lover of the classics, I might just have to keep a second set in their original clothes!
